Relational Psychotherapy

I have always been fascinated by how our minds work, and from 2013 to 2017, I trained as a therapist at the Toronto Institute of Relational Psychotherapy (TIRP), becoming a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) in 2018.

In my therapy practice, I work with individuals seeking help with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, body image challenges and a host of other challenges and issues that arise in life. With these clients, I bring to bear relational psychotherapy skills honed over many hours working with clients as a licensed therapist.

My varied career background helps me quickly join clients in an exploration of what’s troubling them and together we build a therapeutic rapport, a bond within which a client is best able to make positive change in his or her life by first feeling fully accepted for where they are right now. By exploring life’s challenges from different angles, often a client can connect the dots on how best to go from “here” to “there”.

In addition to being a TIRP graduate and a registered member of the CRPO, I am a full member of the Ontario Society of Registered Psychotherapists (OSRP).
